Installation Instructions
To install the viewer, first…
curl -s https://b0e12e65a4f16bfc4594206c69dce2a49a5eabd04efb7540:@packagecloud.io/install/repositories/reelrbtx/SMACC_viewer/script.deb.sh | sudo bash
Then if you want the ROS Kinetic version type…
sudo apt-get install ros-kinetic-smacc-viewer
Or if you want the ROS Melodic version type…
sudo apt-get install ros-melodic-smacc-viewer
Or if you want the ROS Noetic version type…
sudo apt-get install ros-noetic-smacc-viewer
And if you’ve already installed the SMACC Viewer in the past and you want to upgrade to a newer version…
sudo apt-get remove ros-noetic-smacc-viewer or sudo apt-get remove ros-melodic-smacc-viewer or sudo apt-get remove ros-kinetic-smacc-viewer
And reinstall via the directions above.
Operating Instructions
rosrun smacc_viewer smacc_viewer_node.py

While the SMACC Viewer is closed source, it’s currently available for free, for both academic and commercial use.
